Gerhard’s Café, at 1200 East Main Street, offers two choices for dining. There is a formal dining room and a casual Biergarten. The menu has traditional German fare such as Wiener schnitzel, but also has steaks and seafood. The Biergarten menu includes specialty pizzas. There is a full bar and a great selection of German beers. Gerhard’s Café serves dinner Monday-Thursday from 5:30-10pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:30-10:30pm. Hickory Tavern, located at 143 Fernwood Drive, is a popular sports bar and grill. Their casual lunch and dinner menu includes sandwiches, burgers, chicken, steaks, and wings.
